IPD
Interactive Visual Performance
IPD is an interactive visual performance created using creative coding in Processing software. This Project leverages the capabilities of Leap Motion technology, which detects hand movements through advanced sensors, making the experience highly engaging and intuitive. The installation features an Interactive grid system utilizing concepts like arrays etc. You can give them whatever graphic data is in a standard poster size to generate unlimited new posters. A prototype has been created to better understand this designed grid system by collecting seven posters from undergraduate students through a collage process. They combined photographs of architectural elements with typography in their posters. These posters were digitally re-rasterized and integrated into a grid system via Processing. Interaction with the Leap Motion device accelerates the grid’s transformation, allowing users to generate a multitude of unique posters.
Participants can manipulate cells within the grid using a palm-hand motion and select specific cells with a grabbing gesture. This interactive element enables users to explore and create diverse poster designs dynamically. Scan for the live performance of this project.
